5 Reasons why I wear tailormade clothing

A blog from the old days when I worked as a tailor.
But still relevant and what is true for me is also true for your customers.

Feel free to use these arguments to convince your customers of the added value of made to measure slash tailormade clothes.

Okay I admit, for me it’s very easy to choose custom clothing. I don’t even have to leave the house for it 😉.

But convenience is not the only reason. In fact, made-to-measure clothing has many other advantages. Benefits that might not be known to everyone.

That’s why I give you 5 reasons why I wear tailor-made clothes, so that from now on you too will only want to wear clothes made especially for you!

Tailor-made clothes fit perfectly

An obvious one. Tailor-made clothes are made to fit your body. It is much more comfortable to wear than ready-made clothes that you keep pinching. So no more gaping waistband and open blouses, but clothes that fit beautifully from top to bottom.

Tailor-made clothing is a statement against fast fashion

Choosing tailor-made clothing is choosing slow fashion and making a statement against the current clothing industry. Tailor-made clothing is not produced unnecessarily when there is no demand for it and, more importantly, it is not made under miserable conditions by exploited workers.

Tailoring shows your unique you

You and not the clothing industry determines what a garment looks like; what color the jacket is, what print the blouse has and how long the skirt is. Your outfit supports your unique personality, especially when it is also designed for your color and style type This gives you a big boost in all kinds of ways and makes you the best version of yourself.

Tailor-made clothing is durable

Naturally, tailor-made clothing is of high quality and will last a long time. Since you decide what a garment looks like, you can make sure that it fits perfectly with the clothes you already have. Coordinated garments allow for “more with less”. So you need far fewer garments to still look different every day. And as mentioned, you distance yourself from the gigantic mountain of needlessly produced clothing.

Tailor-made clothing makes money

You might not have expected that, huh? Besides the already mentioned arguments about the longer life span and “more with less”, tailor-made clothing also makes money in a third way. There have been numerous studies that show that well-dressed people are more successful. The right clothes help you get your message out. This allows you to charge a higher hourly rate, or convince that one important client of your qualities or get that requested salary increase as well.
